Dear Parents, 

Happy Chinese New Year. I hope you all enjoy a long restful weekend. Just a reminder that Monday and Tuesday of next week we have no school for students. We look forward to having our students back and well rested on February 13, 2019.

International Day: Please mark your calendar for February 16, 2019, when ISY will be hosting International Day. The Parade will begin at 4:00PM. It is a great day of celebration for our ISY community. For more information please see this link. 

College Information: You are invited to attend a presentation on university systems within countries that are outside of the United States and Canada. The presentation will occur on February 19th starting at 5:30 pm in the cafeteria. It will be geared for juniors, but anyone within the ISY community is welcome to attend.

Though 70% of our students apply to U.S. and Canadian universities each year, other university systems are becoming more popular with ISY families. The evening will begin with questions for the audience so that the presentation can be specifically tailored for those in attendance.
We will dive into specific information about each university system, with a large focus on the United Kingdom. Online resources will be provided as will printed copies. We will finish the night with suggestions on how parents can help, a Q and A session and a break-out session which will be led by representatives from a Hong Kong University.
